Bonjoy is expanding its footprint in the Houston market, and we're seeking an experienced (+3Y) Project Manager to spearhead the delivery of our software solutions within the oil & gas sector. This pivotal role demands an extensive background in software project management, coupled with a deep understanding of the industry's unique challenges and requirements.


Job Description

As a Project Manager for Oil & Gas Software Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software solutions to clients in the oil & gas industry. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, develop project plans, and ensure timely and successful implementation of software solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders, will be key to managing resources effectively and meeting project milestones. You will also be responsible for ensuring that software products meet industry standards and client expectations through thorough testing and quality assurance processes. Additionally, you will identify and mitigate risks to ensure projects stay on track and within budget. Building strong relationships with clients and staying informed about industry trends will also be important aspects of your role.


Responsibilities

- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop project plans for software solution delivery in the oil & gas industry.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively and meet project milestones.

- Oversee testing processes to ensure software products meet industry standards and client expectations.

- Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track and within budget.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored software solutions to meet their needs.

- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the oil & gas sector.



Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the software development industry.

- Proficiency in project management methodologies and successful track record of project delivery.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Familiarity with software development processes and technologies used in the oil & gas industry.



Preferred Qualifications

- At least 3 years experience in software development and implementation within the oil & gas market.

- Project management certifications such as PMP or Agile certifications.

- Knowledge of low-code technology platforms such as Mendix.
