Responsibilities include:Delivering adaptive physical education instruction tailored to individual student needsManaging a caseload of approximately 60 visits per week across 6 to 8 assigned campuses in the Kenner areaCollaborating with current APE teachers to develop schedules that best support student progress and teacher coordinationMaintaining detailed records and progress reports for students servedComplying with district policies, including required drug screening and fingerprintingQualifications:Preferred certification in Adaptive Physical Education; a PE teacher license is required at a minimumExperience working with diverse student populations in a physical education settingAbility to manage multiple school sites with an organized and effective approachStrong communication skills to collaborate effectively with school staff and familiesWillingness to work full-time (35 hours per week) with part-time arrangements consideredLocation: Kenner, LouisianaSchedule: Full-time with flexibility available; itinerant position serving multiple campuses on the east bankThis role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with unique physical education needs in an inclusive school district environment.
