Key Responsibilities
- Create / oversee creation and revision of layout drawings and electrical schematics
- Develop BOM for new machines and machine conversions to achieve 100% accuracy
- Facilitate compliance with NEC, IEC, CSA, OSHA, and CE requirements
- Serve as an internal design consultant for product and process improvements to promote Corporate Excellence and Customer Satisfaction
- Play key roles on process improvement teams to help ensure appropriate integration of Engineering, Product Development, and CAD functionality
- Audits and reports the progress and completion of all manufacturing related ECO’s including implementation and operations adoption and execution
- Evaluate / revise existing electrical BOM subassemblies
- Create and distribute machine electrical print package
- Provide engineering technical support for pre-shipment machine commissioning
- Provide engineering technical support to service department
- Provide support and replacement for obsolete products
- Create and support appropriate process documentation
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- BS Electrical Engineering or related degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Able to function in a team-oriented environment
- Must be a self-starter who can meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Must be able to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
- Possess knowledge of standard practices for electrical documentation
- Must be able to communicate fluently with personnel on a professional and vocational level
- Proficiency using AutoCAD Electrical
- 10-15 years’ experience with similar duties
