AppleOne is assisting a mid-sized Winter Park law firm seeking an experienced individual who will have responsibility for handling several of the administrative operations of the office, including human resources, records management, facilities/office services, and marketing. The ideal candidate should have a strategic mindset to align operations and initiatives with the firm’s goals. The candidate should also have the ability to motivate people and enhance a team environment. This position reports to and works closely with the Executive Director.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work directly with attorneys and legal support staff to ensure smooth, efficient functioning of daily operations

• Work with the firm’s marketing committee and outside consultants to execute appropriate level marketing related tasks

• Support current Firm policies and procedures, and recommend new ones to keep the Firm competitive

• Administer Human Resources responsibilities including payroll, benefits administration, recruitment, orientation and training and development of staff

• Assist with and monitor facilities maintenance, and coordination with the landlord/building management, as needed.



Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree, and SHRM HR certification preferred

• Minimum 3 years in a law firm administrative capacity preferred

• Ability to supervise support staff • Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong professional interpersonal skills

• Innovative and creative in approaching the administrative office functions

• Highly detail oriented with ability to handle multiple ongoing projects

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Work, Excel, & Access), payroll/HRIS software, as and other software systems commonly used in law firms.
