LHH is partnering with a Manufacturing company that is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance and Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance operations and facilities management within the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and facility management. They should possess excellent leadership skills to effectively manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure the smooth operation of all facilities and equipment.


Responsibilities:


  1. Maintenance Operations Management:
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal functioning of all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement timely repairs to minimize disruptions to production.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
  1. Facilities Management:
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the entire facility, including production areas, office spaces, and outdoor areas.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to create a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Manage vendor relationships for facility-related services, such as janitorial services, landscaping, and waste management.
  • Identify opportunities for facility improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, set performance goals, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the maintenance and facilities budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Monitor expenses related to equipment repairs, facility maintenance, and contracted services, identifying areas for cost optimization.
  • Prepare regular reports on budget performance and variance analysis for senior management review.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in maintenance and facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in budget management and cost control techniques.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Certification in facilities management or maintenance-related disciplines is a plus.


Salary 80-125k
