Cook 1Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center is seeking a talented and passionate Cook 1 to join our Culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing and presenting food at the highest level of quality, consistency, and craftsmanship while maintaining Four Seasons standards. The Cook 1 serves as a key contributor within the kitchen, supporting daily operations through advanced culinary techniques, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional guest experiences. This position reports to the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
What You Will DoPrepare food items according to established recipes, production methods, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
Execute advanced culinary techniques, including proper knife skills, fabrication, butchery, and ingredient preparation.
Maintain complete mise en place and station readiness for service periods.
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet Four Seasons and departmental standards.
Label, date, rotate, and store food products in accordance with food safety standards.
Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment and work areas.
Support culinary leadership by assisting with training and mentoring team members.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment while following all safety and health regulations.
What You BringMinimum three years of professional culinary experience in a high-volume restaurant, luxury hotel, or fine dining environment preferred.
Advanced knife skills and strong culinary fundamentals.
Experience with protein fabrication, butchery, seafood preparation, or other specialized culinary techniques.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health code requirements.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
