Material Handler
Location:
Newport Beach, CA
Pay: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Monday
- Thursday, 6:00 AM
- 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed
We are seeking dependable Material Handlers to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation in Newport Beach, CA. This temporary position supports increased inventory volume and order fulfillment demands. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize safety, and can maintain accuracy while meeting productivity goals.
Job Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments
Store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with accuracy
Maintain inventory control and warehouse organization
Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines
Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse functions as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred
Experience with SAP or other warehouse management systems is a plus
Basic computer skills preferred
OSHA Forklift and/or HAZMAT certification is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
Physical Requirements
Lift and move up to 50 pounds safely
Perform repetitive movements using hands and feet
Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
Work efficiently under deadlines and changing priorities
Maintain dependable attendance and strong work habits
