Supporting the Department of Homeland Security, the full-time Senior Geospatial Analyst will manage geospatial datasets, perform spatial analysis, and ensure data quality in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
Acquire, organize, and maintain geospatial datasets for DHS mission programs
Perform routine geoprocessing and spatial analysis while ensuring data quality and compliance
Create and maintain metadata and assist with the design of web maps and geospatial services
Required qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field
10+ years of experience in GIS, geospatial analysis, cartography, or data management
Proficiency in ESRI technology such as ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
Understanding of spatial data concepts and experience with data formats like JSON and SQL
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance and meet DHS suitability requirements
