Production Supervisor – 3rd shift


A well-known food and beverage manufacturer is looking for a Production Supervisor in Chaska, MN. This is a direct hire opportunity


Shift of the Production Supervisor:


Sunday through Thursday 10pm-7am


Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:

  • Organize and supervise the operations and work practices throughout their shift, ensuring safety standards, performance standards, and customer specifications are met.
  • Develop and maintain the highest standard for Safety awareness, training completion, identifies corrective actions, and accountability for unsafe behavior by our personnel. Identify and execute opportunities to improve.
  • Maintain business processes in support of food safety audits, regulatory requirements, and internal business control audits.
  • Responsible for aspects of leading the staff including hiring, coaching, managing performance and development planning.
  • Manage execution of daily management activities such as team meetings, shift exchanges, daily direction-setting, visual controls, status-at-a-glance boards, etc.
  • Manage line equipment, employees, and raw materials so that all are prepared to meet the production scheduled by planning and anticipating production needs.
  • Other duties assigned.


Requirements of the Production Supervisor:

  • 3-5 years production supervisor experience in a food production environment
  • Must have proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Must be able to communicate with tact and professionalism at all times
  • Effective verbal, written, interpersonal, and instructional skills
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft office products
  • Ability to learn and utilize SAP
