Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Bicycle Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.
This active role may include riding a bicycle for extended periods while assisting visitors and reporting concerns.

What You'll Do
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and community members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a public-sector location.
Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the assigned area, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum

Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
