Role Overview:
Responsible for performing and reporting laboratory analyses from various specimen sources to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and document analyses, manage specimens properly, and confirm identification and suitability.
Follow accessioning, reporting, and quality control procedures, including instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Replenish supplies, recognize order discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
Navigate multiple computer applications and assist in training new staff.
Participate in ongoing education and successfully complete competency assessments.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an associate degree with certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
Experience in clinical laboratory settings or military medical laboratory roles is valued.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple processes efficiently.
Work Environment & Benefits
