Job Title: Locksmith Technician


Department: Mechanical


Locations: Orlando, FL


Reports to: Operation Manager


Position Summary: This position is full-time (overtime as needed) and demands an individual who can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Our organization has served the Central Florida area since 1929. Our mission is to offer high-quality security products and top-of-the-line customer service.

• Participate in organized weekly planning meetings.

• Commercial and residential locksmith work.

• Working knowledge of computers, tablets, and smart phone devices.

• Manages time and meets time sensitive deadlines.

• Learn about our products and services and provide detailed reports and project updates.

• Maintains and submits accurate paperwork and documentation.

• Always provide excellent customer service.

• Works independently or within a team on daily tasks and projects.

• Utilize Web base ERP to process requisitions, estimates, work orders, and invoices.

• Employees are responsible for providing their own hand tools; specialty tools will be provided.


Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

• 4+ years of commercial locksmith experience.

• Master keying, impressions, and basic mechanical knowledge.

• Working knowledge of computers, tablets, and smart phone devices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Clean background check, driving record, and able to pass a drug test.

• Willingness to follow rotational on-call schedule for days, nights, and weekends.

• Ability to lift/ maneuver 80lbs.

• Ability to take direction and follow through to find a resolution.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and demonstrate organizational skills.

• Project a professional image in all customer interactions

• Proficiency with personal computers and MS Office Suite software

• Office environment
