Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst Manager to oversee a team of data analysts and support the data analysis needs of their Birmingham, AL office. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of data analysts in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to support business objectives.
  • Develop and implement data analysis strategies and methodologies to optimize business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data analysis needs and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Manage data projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analysis and recommend improvements to existing processes and methodologies.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical analysis, data visualization, and data mining.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages is preferred.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView is a plus.
