ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform administrative duties for a fast-paced medical device manufacturing company supporting the engineering and operations teams
  • Represent the company in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external customers/business partners.
  • Duties will include managing engineering calendars; tracking documentation; drafting quotations, reviews and other agreements; scheduling engineering work; filing and organizing; running and distributing weekly/monthly reports; coordinating effectively with multiple areas and teams; and other special tasks or projects as needed by the team.
  • Assist operations and engineering teams with other administrative tasks, as needed.

This is Engineering Assistant will:

  • Develop, draw and maintain technical records
  • Prepare drawings using computer output data and/or general instructions from engineers
  • Format, analyze, update and maintain records and resolve discrepancies

Additional Qualifications:

In addition to STRONG verbal communication skills, our Engineering Assistants must have:

  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills
  • Poriferous will consider for employment qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of federal, state and local laws
  • Qualification on pre-employment screening

Seeking an entry level to 2 years experienced CAD technician to join our engineering team. This position will involve design in 3D using our design software. The chosen candidate will collaborate daily with other designers for the development and refinement of products in a fast-paced environment with a rapid design cycle. This person must be team-centric, and posses good communication skills.

This candidate will be trained to:

  • Design 3D models in STL environment.
  • Create review documents for customer approval.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of department standards, best practices, and manufacturing/assembly process improvements.
  • Manufacturing with process validation

Requirements:

  • 6 months to 2 years of current experience using CAD software.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to develop creative solutions to problems.
  • Must be an independent self-starter that can work with minimal supervision.
  • Team-centric with the willingness to learn from and mentor others.
  • Associates Degree or certificate from a technical college, for CAD preferred.
