Social Workers AB Staffing is looking for experiencedLicensed School Social Workersthat are available for the 2025/2026 school year.
Requirements:
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work preferred. Must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement Experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.
Job Description
Contract through the 2025/2026 school year Contract follows the academic district calendar – 32 to 40 hours per week. Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset
Essential Functions: Provide individual and group counseling to students Support students with IEPs and contribute to IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration Address issues such as attendance, behavior, and crisis intervention Serve as a liaison between the school and community resources
Salary:
$1,950 – $2,175 per week
