Social Media & Content Specialist

The role requires you to be onsite 2 - 3 days per week.


Job Description

The Leesa brand is one of the largest in the 3Z portfolio and is rapidly growing within the mattress e-commerce space. With significant online visibility and active shopper conversations, we aim to deepen our engagement in social and community spaces, making the mattress-buying journey seamless and enjoyable for our customers.


We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media & Content Specialist with 2+ years of experience in relevant brand or marketing roles to join the Leesa Brand Marketing team. Reporting to the Leesa Brand Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Leesa’s online presence, driving demand, and enhancing shopper interactions across social platforms and external review sites.


As the “face” of the brand, you’ll be at the forefront of content creation, community management, and collaboration with external partners. We are looking for a person who is passionate about storytelling, comfortable on camera, and ready to juggle multiple projects with precision.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Leesa’s social media profiles across platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Engage with shoppers and the online community to educate and inspire confidence in their purchase decisions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, engaging content for social platforms.
  • Act as the on-camera personality for videos and posts, showcasing Leesa’s expertise and approachable brand voice.
  • Work closely with external agencies to coordinate social media strategies and content creation.
  • Oversee Leesa’s presence on external review sites, ensuring accurate and positive brand representation.
  • Partner with the CX team to address customer queries and concerns across social platforms.
  • Lead video and content production with an SEO focus to enhance visibility on Google and YouTube.
  • Use data analytics to measure content and channel performance, drawing actionable insights to refine strategies.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience within a relevant brand or marketing role, ideally in social media management or content creation.
  • Ability to create compelling content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Confidence and comfort being on camera, acting as the “face” of the brand.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize a wide range of tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and patiently with teams and partners.
  • Basic understanding of performance metrics and leveraging data to create insights and optimize strategies.
  • Motivated self-starter with a hunger to independently drive projects forward
