Position Overview

The Senior CNC Programmer is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs for multi-axis machines and machining centers in a manufacturing environment. This role aims to improve production efficiency, ensure high-quality standards, and support the continuous improvement of machining processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis machines and machining centers.
  • Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to create precise machining instructions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and updates on CNC programs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Train and mentor junior programmers and operators on CNC programming best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in CNC programming, specifically with multi-axis machines.
  • Strong knowledge of machining centers and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
