Staff and Recruitment Specialist

Staffing and Recruitment Specialist is responsible for sourcing and recruiting qualified candidates to fill various positions within client organizations. This includes sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, eliminating any unqualified candidates, and facilitating submissions internally for client review.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, evaluate candidate fit, and facilitate assessments or tests as necessary, to recommend suitable candidates to client organizations.
- Partner closely with the Customer and Associate Relations Manager to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and establish candidate profiles. Provide advice and guidance on hiring strategies, market trends, and talent availability.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Keep candidates informed about their application status and provide feedback when necessary.
- Communicate requirements and duties to prospective candidates.
- Collaborate with HR staff for developing and implementing recruiting policies and strategies.
- Identify job fair opportunities and partner with internal team to coordinate onsite or virtual events.
- Research and implement new job posting resources.
- Create, develop, and post job openings on job search websites.
- Liaison between corporate Client & Associate Relations Manager and client.
- Maintain accurate and updated candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Generate recruitment reports and metrics to track recruitment activities, monitor progress, and assess the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
- Participate in applicable Staffing and HR meetings.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, standards, and regulations.
Work Setting:
- This is a full-time remote position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, Hours are 8am-5pm. There will be travel based on location for participation in Job Fair events.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) as a Recruiter or Staffing Specialist, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Preferred Healthcare Recruiting experience.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR practices related to recruitment.
- A Staffing Specialist plays a pivotal role in acquiring top talent, contributing to the success and growth of the organization by ensuring a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
