About the Role:

As a Segmentation Specialist, you'll be responsible for creating accurate 3D anatomical models from CT scans for pre-operative planning in total hip and knee replacements. This role plays a vital part in ensuring optimal surgical outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Processing and Model Creation:
• Review CT scans for quality and adherence to segmentation protocols.
• Utilize specialized software to segment CT scan data, isolating specific bone structures and creating precise 3D anatomical models.
• Pre-Operative Surgical Planning:
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized pre-operative plans based on the 3D models.
• Meticulously review segmentations and surgical plans to ensure accurate identification of anatomical landmarks, optimal implant sizing, and proper positioning.
• Communication and Documentation:
• Provide technical support for Mako surgeries (Stryker's robotic-assisted surgical system) as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all activities in accordance with established procedures.
• Upload completed pre-operative plans to Stryker's field personnel to facilitate successful surgery execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Biology, Kinesiology, Health Sciences) preferred.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy, particularly the bones and joints of the lower limbs.
• Proven experience using medical imaging software and segmentation tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology a plus.
