Engineering Manager

Pay: $100k - $130k

Location: Athol, MA

Industry: Plastic Extrusion


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of engineering from tooling design to process development, assisting in material selection and process troubleshooting.
  • Lead New Product Development to help sustain business growth, including new material processing.
  • Responsible for preparing engineering data required for RFQ as per customer drawings.
  • Manage the APQP process, directly and indirectly involved in the design and/or redesign of parts or products and the design and/or improvements to the tooling, processes and systems.
  • Responsible for proposal, preparation, and execution of capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Engineering preferred
  • Seven (7) + years of experience in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
  • MUST have plastics extrusion process and materials knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of machining and knowledge of extrusion equipment troubleshooting.
