Apparel Designer

Our client is seeking an experienced Fashion Technical Designer with experience in fashion design, production and product development functions.

Salary of $80k to $110k depending on experience.

Work mainly in office with some potential for hybrid schedule after training.

You will influence fashion direction by providing Technical Design expertise and brand appropriate fashion design and strategy to drive go to market execution.

Knowledge of garment construction, sketching, tech pack creation, sample development and product development trends are required.

This position will partner with and inform senior management on new product trends. You will provide product specs to the Sales Team, design new products.

Provide support to production and sourcing teams to evaluate new fabrics and trims to maintain quality standards while controlling costs.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design and 5+ years working experience in design in the Fashion Industry.

Technical Design, garment construction, and fit session experience.

Excellent knowledge of Garment Construction, Fit and establishing of base Specs.

High level of creativity and detail orientation

Experience with Adobe Illustrator sketches, illustrations of garment construction details.

Ability to present designs and concepts to senior management

Strong sense of urgency with deadline driven focus

Available to travel occasionally domestically & internationally
