Insight Logistics Management is looking to grow its existing brokerage business by hiring motivated, self-starters with the ability to communicate over the phone and in person. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in freight brokerage sales and carrier relations, as well as book of business.

Qualified candidates will possess some if not all of the following:

- 1 year truck brokerage experience required

- McLeod TMS is a bonus

- High School diploma or higher

- Strong work ethic who is self-motivated

- Ability to solve problems in a fast paced environment

- Ability to communicate effectively over various methods; Email, Phone, In person

Duties

- Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers to secure freight opportunities

- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions

- Coordinate and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery

- Manage customer accounts and provide exceptional customer service

- Utilize logistics software to optimize routing and maximize efficiency

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations

Experience

- Proven experience in logistics sales or account management

- Strong knowledge of supply chain and freight industry

- Excellent sales and negotiation skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
