One of The Select Group's clients is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team in Atlanta, GA to help with two new data center build outs


Hours: 4pm-12am EST

Location: 100% onsite in ATL with travel (expenses paid)


Day to day responsibilities:

  1. 50% - data entry and getting data center needs into system – they will utilize Excel & “Sunbird” system for data
  2. Cabling
  3. Troubleshooting equipment – Ex. PDU in rack, and set consoles
  4. Rack/Stack


Requirements:

  1. Experience enterprise level data center
  2. Computer Skills: Sunbird DCTrack/Excel – Need to be able to add in lines, filter information, data sorting, and cell manipulation.
  3. Hardware troubleshooting experience - HP servers and Cisco servers
  4. Hardware replacement
  5. Cabling – knowing how to route cables direct, following correct styles and processes for racking
  6. Need to be able to lift 50lbs, move equipment from shipping to put in racks
  7. Shipping & Receiving – Inventory tracking of all parts and pieces, all information goes into Sunbird
