Position Overview:

SEMTech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analytical Laboratory Manager to run the SEM laboratory. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SEM analysis techniques, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality results. The successful candidate will be utilizing a field emission scanning electron microscope equipped with a BSE detector to capture high resolution images and a silicon drift detector for EDS analysis. 


Key Responsibilities:

·      Run all aspects of laboratory operations, including sample preparation, instrument operation, data analysis, and reporting.

·      Serve as the point of contact for clients, providing technical support, addressing inquiries, and ensuring client satisfaction.

·      Coordinate with clients to understand their analytical requirements and expectations.

·      Prepare and deliver comprehensive analytical reports, summarizing findings, interpretations, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

·      Provide demonstrations of SEMTech Solutions products to prospective customers


Qualifications:

·      Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field. PhD preferred.

·      Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEM analysis, with a strong background in microscopy techniques and instrumentation.

·      Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

·      Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

·      Proficiency in relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting.
