Reporting to the VP of Data and Information Systems, the Technical Lead will support the implementation and maintenance of data management platforms, including Data Warehousing, Master Data Management, Data Integration and Exchange, Analytics, and Reporting. This is a hands-on technical role focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of data processes and supporting strategic initiatives like modernization and cloud migration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage data management platforms.
- Design and implement data warehouse structures and optimization routines.
- Develop and support data integrations across various data sources (on-prem, cloud, SaaS).
- Investigate and integrate new data sources into HFCU’s ecosystem.
- Assess and implement new tools and technologies.
- Oversee operational data processes, including troubleshooting and resolution.
- Ensure compliance with data access and storage policies.
- Train staff on data use best practices and maintain high-quality reporting.
- Document processes and mentor junior data staff.
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience required
Must live in/near Boston
- A four-year college degree in Information Technology or a related field, or a two-year college degree combined with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with traditional RDBMS (e.g., MSSQL, Oracle) or cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AzureSQL/Synapse).
- Expertise in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, including functions, stored procedures, triggers, and optimization.
- 2 years of experience with enterprise integration platforms (e.g., Talend, Informatica).
- 2 years of experience with analytics and visualization software (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
- Advanced proficiency with Excel.
- Intermediate skills in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript, Python).
- Experience with data integration frameworks (e.g., SFTP, REST) and data exchange formats (e.g., CSV, XML).
- Exposure to low- or no-code development platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Salesforce).
