Help Desk Technician

Robert Half is looking for a part-time IT Help Desk Technician for a local non-profit based in Seattle, Washington. This position is 100% onsite in Seattle, Washington



Duration: Short-term contract (6-12 weeks)

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8 AM – 1:30 PM) 20-25 hours weekly.



Responsibilities:

  • Onsite and hands-on support for employee’s both remotely and onsite.
  • Troubleshoot end-user support items such as laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards and security policies.
  • Assist with users’ accounts password resets, account creation/deletion through active directory and Office 365.
  • Maintain communication with users on incidences through ticketing system until completion.
  • Install/upgrade new company supported software to users.
  • Track inventory of IT assets.
  • Assist systems administrator with server maintenance and networking.



Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in Help Desk Support and/or related fields.
  • Proven experience support Microsoft 365 applications (OneNote, Teams, Outlook).
  • Experience supporting Ticketing queues through ticketing systems.
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory/AD – group policies/permissions.
  • Basic knowledge of security best practices.
  • Solid understanding/ability to read networking maps.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
  • Certifications in Network+, CCNA and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Functional and working knowledge Windows Server experience.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN and/or Wi-fi.



The pay range for this position is $25/hour to $30/hour. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
