Duties & Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will design and develop software for a large test system that incorporates multiple levels of software, including automation (robotics) and hardware control, machine vision, coordination of system activities, factory information system interface, and user interface. Collaboration with engineers from other countries (USA, Thailand, India) as well of other engineering disciplines in designing solutions and solving complex system problems will be required.

Responsibilities

Design and implement parts of the system software, including automation control and simulation.

Integrate with other software subsystems through programmatic interfaces and asynchronous notifications.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

Fluency in English is required.

BSEE or BSCS or equivalent experience required, MS or equivalent is a plus.

5+ years’ experience in software development is required.

Knowledge of C#, .NET, TCP/IP is required.

Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming, multi-threading, state-machine end event-based programming, are required.

Experience with software configuration management and issue tracking methods is required.

Experience with automation (robotics) and machine vision is preferred.

Abilities to work effectively on multiple tasks, work with teams across the world, problem solve through creative and analytical thinking, grasp new technologies and react to changes in a fast- paced environment are expected.
