With our beautiful waterfront facilities, we offer swimming, boating, and water sports activities that keep campers engaged and excited all summer long.


About the Role: As Assistant Waterfront Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring campers have a blast while staying safe in and around the water. This is a direct supervisory role where you'll assist in leading a team of lifeguards/waterfront instructors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship throughout the summer.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of 20+ LGT Swim Counselors
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of waterfront activities and programs
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency procedures
  • Provide swim instruction and water safety education to campers
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of waterfront equipment and facilities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive waterfront environment for campers and staff

Qualifications:

  • Must be a college student (or recent graduate) with previous camp, lifeguarding, or waterfront experience
  • Possess current lifeguard certification and WSI Certification (or willingness to obtain certifications before camp begins)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with children in a dynamic outdoor setting
