Print Manager

The Print Manager is responsible for managing the production process all the way from early print design discussions to the actual production and delivery of the final publication and in charge of ensuring that all print jobs are finished accurately and have met or exceeded deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production process, from managing critical due dates to setting and maintaining quality expectations for our printed materials
- Supervise and manage press production, personnel, quality processes, and equipment for the pressroom; anticipate problems before they occur to minimize downtime
- Manage and control inventory of departmental supplies
- Manage vendor relationships and expectations, conducting press checks and regular audits to ensure that our high standards are consistently met
- Manage and maintain client print budgets, deadlines and overall quality standards
- Enforce quality control procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards in all printed materials
- Troubleshoot workflow or operational issues and take corrective action to ensure standards, budgets, and customer service levels are met
Qualifications
- Associate degree
- 3 - 5 years work experience in print production: mail, conventional & digital printing
- Print production management experience in factory or warehouse environment
- Knowledge of spectrophotometry and color measurement
- Printing and Finishing industry experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership and communication skills
