Confidential Company in Orange County, CA is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Contents Restoration and Inventory Manager to lead our contents management division. The ideal candidate will oversee the management, handling, and restoration of contents affected by environmental hazards while also providing accurate estimates for services related to disaster recovery, restoration, and remediation projects. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams.


**Qualified candidates must have prior experience in the property restoration industry and utilizing Xactimate software**


Key Responsibilities:

Contents Management:

  • Lead the management and processing of contents damaged by water, fire, mold, and other environmental hazards.
  • Supervise packing, moving, storage, cleaning, and restoration processes.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain content inventory and tracking systems.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all contents, including photos, descriptions, and conditions pre- and post-restoration.
  • Oversee and coordinate with restoration teams for timely and quality-focused cleaning and restoration of contents.
  • Work closely with insurance adjusters and clients to ensure the restoration process is aligned with their needs and expectations.


Estimating:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to assess damages caused by environmental hazards.
  • Develop accurate and detailed estimates for restoration projects using industry-standard software (e.g., Xactimate).
  • Prepare scope of work documents and cost breakdowns for clients and insurance companies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, and subcontractors to ensure all estimates are comprehensive and align with the scope of work.
  • Review completed projects to ensure the scope was adhered to, managing any revisions or change orders as necessary.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the environmental restoration industry, with at least 3 years of estimating experience. Experience in content management and restoration is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (Xactimate, or similar) and experience with content management tools.
  • Certifications: IICRC Certification (WRT, ASD, AMRT) or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of restoration processes, insurance claims procedures, and industry standards for contents and structural restoration.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in team management and oversight, with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate project scopes, updates, and requirements to clients and internal teams.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.


Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
  • Physical capability to inspect damaged properties and move or lift heavy objects as necessary.
