C'E Montessori is a beautiful Montessori PreK-8th grade school located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, that aims to create an environment that maximizes the independence of our children. Our open-layout space features stunning materials, access to a garden, and a dance studio, all of which are designed to foster creativity and learning.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Elementary Montessori Teacher. The successful candidate will work closely with young children to cultivate their natural curiosity and independence, and foster their intellectual and social growth. The role requires experience working with children, with a particular emphasis on the Montessori method and philosophy.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or Early Childhood Development
  • Montessori certification from an accredited program
  • At least two years of experience in an elementary Montessori classroom
  • Familiarity with Montessori materials and curriculum development
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and students
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A commitment to the Montessori philosophy and the education of young children
