As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the real estate portfolio by creating and managing investor and lender reports, assisting in financial reviews of assets, supporting the onboarding of new assets, and aiding in the disposition process. You will collaborate closely with management, vendors, Property Management, Accounting, Legal, and Operations teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Work actively with development teams, property managers, and leasing agents.
  • Track loan maturities, lender reporting, and due diligence as required.
  • Ensure property documentation and dashboards are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Research and provide data to assist in preparing property operating budgets.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of the portfolio for partners.
  • Propose and implement property goals and objectives based on asset strategy, updating as necessary.
  • Draft monthly and quarterly distribution calculations for VP approval.
  • Implement initial onboarding of assets with acquisitions and development teams.
  • Conduct financial analysis, market studies, and industry-standard reporting.
  • Review and analyze monthly operating statements.
  • Maintain tenant relationships and manage ongoing accounts receivable issues with Property Management.
  • Draft quarterly asset management summary reports.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or real estate required.
  • Preferably 5 years of experience in real estate investment or asset management.
  • Proven ability to perform financial analysis, including ROI, IRR, and discounted cash flow modeling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with high competency in Excel required.
  • Experience with YARDI and SharePoint preferred.
