Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers.
Provide directions for all inbound and outbound loads.
Responsible for moving trailer onsite and offsite.
Perform daily yard checks and inspections.
Perform daily yard truck inspections.
Daily clean up of the yard and surrounding areas of the yard.
Interact with truck drivers and customers.
Provide superior customer service.
Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures.
Maintain regular attendance at work.
Other duties to be assigned as business necessitates.
Job Qualifications
- Education and
Experience:
Prior production experience is desired.
Non-CDL license required. (Driver License)Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and incoming and outgoing load documents.
Physical
Requirements:
Regularly stand and walk for 8 or more hours a day.
Effectively handle lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 60 pounds frequently.
Frequently required to bend, twist, use hands to finger, handle, control and climb or balance, reach with hands and arms.
