This role requires strong project management skills, including stakeholder management, vendor coordination, training, documentation, and post-implementation evaluation. It also involves understanding legal processes and requirements, as well as technical proficiency in implementing and managing software solutions.


Job Description -

Documenting current process and ways to improve it via future solicitation of the new legal case management system SaaS

  • Attend agency briefings to understand user needs and business requirements.
  • Meet with staff to capture business process workflows, reporting, and analysis for each agency.
  • Lead the agency in identifying business requirements for a new legal case management system.
  • Develop evaluation criteria for SaaS proposals by various vendors.
  • Identify possible software companies, schedule software demonstrations, and review available services.

Implementation of new legal case management system SaaS

  • Work with the selected SaaS vendor to implement software, including developing and conducting end-user training.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot internal issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Develop policies, procedures, user guides, desk manuals, FAQs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Create a communication strategy for affected employees, training, and ongoing support.
  • Provide updated training manuals and conduct trainings as new standards are developed.


Phase 3: Evaluate post implementation

  • Conduct evaluation of the new legal case management system for improvements.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues as they occur.


General Responsibilities:

  • Provide generalized or specific observations relevant to the project.
  • Prepare bi-weekly reports and submit them to the OGC Deputy Chief of Staff.
  • Submit hours worked for the project.
  • Responsible for scheduling work, interpreting and implementing instructions, explaining or demonstrating work techniques, and sharing appropriate information.
  • Prepare reports and make oral presentations as needed.
