Technical Manager

Location: Onsite in Nottingham, MD

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Salary Range: $75-85k depending on level of experience

Must Haves:

• 5 years of relevant work experience, including minimum 3 years’ experience working for a MSP (Managed Services Provider).
• Project Management experience is required.
• Experience writing proposals for technical solutions to fulfill business needs.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and managing IT Project both internally and for clients.
• Schedule and conduct periodic Technology Business Reviews with existing clients with the goal of proposing additional IT Projects. This individual will also implement/manage these new projects.
• Research and recommend IT tools for use to provide services for clients (Security, Network performance, Business community, etc.)
• Provide escalation support of incoming requests to the service desk via telephone, web portal, email to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues.
• Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet defined SLAs.
• Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in resolving support requests.
• Installing and configuring hardware and software components throughout various network infrastructure devices.
