Job Summary: As a Maintenance Mechanic at a growing radiopharmaceutical manufacturing company, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facilities critical to our production processes. Your primary focus will be to ensure the continuous operation of our manufacturing infrastructure, minimizing downtime, and optimizing efficiency to meet production goals while adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of manufacturing equipment including but not limited to reactors, centrifuges, chromatography systems, sterilization units, and packaging machinery.
  2. Facility Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of HVAC systems, utilities, electrical systems, and other facility infrastructure components. Address any facility-related issues promptly to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
  3. Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment malfunctions and mechanical issues using a variety of tools and techniques. Implement effective solutions to resolve problems and prevent recurrence, collaborating with cross-functional teams as necessary.
  4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inspection reports. Generate detailed reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and any deviations from standard operating procedures.
  5. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards at all times. Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the development of safety procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement within the maintenance function. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability and operational performance.
