Job Title: Dynamic Business Lawyer for Progressive Small Firm (Remote Options Available)

We are looking for a fully remote attorney to assist us until February. Must be licensed in Arizona and have business litigation experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel across various business sectors, addressing unique day-to-day challenges with strategic insights.
  • Manage and assist with legal claims, including litigation, audits, worker's compensation, and other governing body claims.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review a wide array of business agreements tailored to different business models.
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings throughout Arizona, ensuring their interests are effectively protected.
  • Conduct legal research to remain updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends that affect our operations and clients.
  • Advise clients on legal matters, equipping them to make strategic decisions while mitigating risk.
  • Assist with Estate Planning matters as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Arizona.
  • Strong knowledge of business law, including contracts, corporate governance, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply legal principles to practical business situations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills, with a track record of preparing clear and concise legal documents.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing strategic legal advice and mitigating risks.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High ethical standards with a commitment to confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.
