We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer that is looking to grow to a more senior role. This is an On-site position in DAVIE, Florida.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design and coordination of HVAC systems for a range of projects, ensuring energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.

- Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to develop design concepts and deliverables.

- Manage and mentor junior engineering staff, providing guidance and oversight to ensure project success.

- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing to meet project requirements.

- Prepare and review HVAC construction documents, specifications, and reports, and ensure they comply with all applicable codes and regulations.

- Conduct site visits to verify system installations and provide technical support during construction.

- Stay current with industry advancements and incorporate the latest HVAC technologies into project designs.

- Assist in project management tasks, including budget control and timeline adherence.


Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

- Proficiency in HVAC design software and other relevant tools. Especially AutoCAD, Revit and Trace/HAP.

- Plumbing and/or Fire Protection design experience is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

- Leadership experience and the ability to manage and mentor junior engineers.
