Engineering Assistant

Responsibilities

• Bill of Material creation in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Batch printing, organizing , binding and distribution of drawings.
• Create sheet metal bending programs and flat patterns from engineer designed parts.
• Create sheet metal cutting flat pattern cutting programs for use at the FlowJet machine.
• Create dimensioned drawings of elements designed by the engineering department.
• Printer/plotter management, ordering of ink, paper, and other office supplies.
• Importing / Exporting Bills of Materials from Excel into QuickBooks
• Create reference lists and other reference files in Excel, Windows Explorer, & Word
• Assist with Research and Development, and product testing as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows based operating systems, file/folder structures, moving files, copying files, etc.
• Proficient in Windows based applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook (Email), Adobe, Etc.
• Experience with Excel VBA Macros is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Press Brake Bending Software & Sheet Metal Cutting Software preferred, but not required.
• Experience in ACAD, SolidWorks, or other drawing programs preferred, but not required.
• Experience in QuickBooks or other accounting software preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Ability to work well in a team environment, receiving tasks from multiple individuals, and prioritizing tasks by efficiency and importance.
