Sr. SAP MM Functional Consultant

Type of Role: long term contract (open to W2 only, no C2C)

Location: Irvine, CA or Fremont, CA

Pay Rate: flexible, beginning at $65ph doe


We are seeking a seasoned Senior SAP MM Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Materials Management modules and a deep understanding of procurement processes. Additionally, the candidate should possess significant expertise in Ariba environments. This role will be supporting a client who launched SAP S/4HANA as they continue to optimize their system.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support in the implementation, customization, and optimization of SAP MM modules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into SAP MM solutions.
  • Lead configuration, testing, and deployment activities for SAP MM modules.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues related to SAP MM functionality, including integration with Ariba solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in SAP MM and Ariba to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.


Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in a functional consultant role within SAP MM.
  • In-depth knowledge (3+ years) of SAP Ariba environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.


Shift and Schedule:

Monday – Friday

Typical business hours

May need evening and weekend availability on occasion.
