Job Responsibilities:
1. Produces technical illustrations for use in service publications.
2. Conducts research to support efforts in developing comprehensive parts breakdowns.
3. Operates photographic equipment with reasonable degree of proficiency.
4. Interprets engineering drawings, bills of material, vendor furnished technical data, and physical parts in support of materials to be published.
5. Assists in other departmental activities, such as printing and bindery operations, shipping and receiving operations.
Job Requirements:
A familiarity and understanding of engineering terminology, plus a demonstrated capability to communicate complicated comprehensive information to engineers, service personnel, mechanics, shop personnel, and customers.
Experience in:
- Graphic Design / Graphic Design Education
- Drafting / Drafting Education.
- Mechanics and Machine Servicing.
- Machine / Structural Design (Experience or Classes).
- Computer skills, Knowledge of PC and Mainframe Computer Environments, Word Processing / Spreadsheets, Drafting, and other Engineering-Based Software.
