ABAC Engineer

90% Remote at Fort Meade, MD.

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) Engineer/Integrator. This qualified professional will have a pivotal role in evaluating, supporting, and enhancing multiple ABAC solutions for federal government systems. You will be required to have a knowledge of multiple coding languages (XML, JAVA, XACML, etc.), along with working with API integrations for various products.

Responsibilities/Description:

• Designing, implementing, deploying, and supporting ABAC policy management and enforcement.
• Integrating ABAC capabilities with various federal government systems.
• Identifying areas for process improvement and creating innovative solutions.
• Working as a part of a team, and individually, to meet mission objectives.
• Collaborating with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to meet project milestones.

Qualifications/Skillsets: (include about of years required)

• Certifications in ABAC or related field.
• Experience in a related IT field (e.g., IT Security, IT Audit, IT Compliance).
• Knowledge of ABAC related legislation and standards.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the ABAC space working for the federal government.
• 5 years development experience with Java supporting enterprise application integration.
• Have or obtain required DoD 8570 certification requirements.
• Extensive experience in managing complex projects on time and within budget.
• Familiarity with latest tools and techniques for ABAC implementation.
• Proven experience partnering with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

A minimum of a Master’s degree with 8 years of equivalent experience.

Certifications:

· Security +

· CISSP or equivalent
