A rapidly growing Series C HealthTech is seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead their technical strategy and drive innovation. The company is dedicated to revolutionizing the industry by leveraging AI to improve patient outcomes, enhance healthcare accessibility, and drive efficiencies across the healthcare ecosystem.


Role Overview: You will play a pivotal role in shaping our product roadmap, driving technical excellence, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading series-funded startups in the healthcare/health tech space and a passion for leveraging technology to drive positive impact in healthcare.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of our technical strategy, in alignment with the company's overall objectives and vision.
  • Drive the design, development, and deployment of innovative technology solutions that address the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the architecture and scalability of our technology stack, ensuring it can support our rapid growth and evolving business requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science, to drive alignment and execution on key initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our product roadmap and technical architecture.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance across our technology infrastructure.
  • Represent the company's technical vision and capabilities to external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, with a proven track record of success in leading series-funded startups in the healthcare/health tech space.
  • Deep expertise in building and scaling technology platforms, with a strong understanding of modern software development methodologies, cloud technologies, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment, with the ability to drive rapid iteration and execution.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable technical strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and build strong relationships across the organization.
