Responsibilities of the Director of Financial Reporting

  • Monthly Close reporting - reviewing balance sheets, P&L's, variance analysis
  • Explain and provide any changes in the reporting
  • Research monthly P&L for the meetings
  • Forecasting, provide board materials for the VP's and run the meetings and show reporting findings.

Qualifications of the Director of Financial Reporting

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA/CPA is a plus
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Nonprofit is a plus
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Great Plains, MIP, SAP, Power BI is a plus; experience with budgeting tools and advanced Excel skills
