As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in our finance operations, supporting month-end activities, internal controls, and fostering relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This is a hybrid position with 2 days in office.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily ACH payments for per diems, including preparation and import of journal entry files.
  • Manage weekly payroll uploads and imports.
  • Reconcile daily cash with bank statements, clearing AP checks, and posting accounts receivable in Viewpoint. • Collaborate with the Finance team to prepare timely financial statements and key reporting analyses.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Provide functional guidance and informal training to staff.
  • Oversee transactions for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable handled by staff.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports as directed by the Controller.
  • Coordinate accounting matters with other departments and locations.



Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Viewpoint Construction Software preferred; experience with sophisticated G/L and reporting tools (Hyperion, Oracle, SAP, etc.) desirable.
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA preferred
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or a similar industry is a plus.
