Summary


As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our plastic injection molding processes. Your primary focus will be on enhancing efficiency, elevating production performance, and swiftly identifying and addressing bottlenecks. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead initiatives to propel our manufacturing operations to new heights of productivity.



Job Responsibilities


Efficiency Enhancement:

  • Utilize extensive plastic injection molding expertise to streamline processes and enhance machine and assembly efficiency.
  • Implement innovative solutions to maximize output and minimize resource utilization.
  • Drive initiatives to achieve and surpass production efficiency targets.


Production Performance:

  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team to ensure that designs are optimized for seamless production.
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for performance improvement.
  • Lead projects aimed at elevating overall production performance and meeting production goals.



Bottleneck Identification and Resolution:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing processes to pinpoint bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency.
  • Implement lean fundamentals to identify root causes and develop strategic solutions for bottleneck elimination.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated approach to bottleneck resolution.



Continuous Improvement:

  • Instill a culture of continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Leverage lean manufacturing principles to drive ongoing enhancements in efficiency and productivity.
  • Spearhead initiatives to continually optimize machine and assembly effectiveness.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in optimizing plastic injection molding processes for enhanced efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and a track record of successful implementation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on improving overall production performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.


Preferred Skills


  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to plastic injection molding.
