We are seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our team. This position will work with both internal and external clients and partners with a focus on our Renewals line of business to provide a positive customer experience. Keller Schroeder is unable to provide sponsorship at this time.


Responsibilities:

  • Proactively communicate with existing clients to renew their existing agreements and identify potential ways to increase sales of organization’s products and/or services.
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with all support and sales teams, as well as client base accounts.
  • Work with our partners and internal team to provide customer-facing renewal quotes and process approvals.
  • Communicate with both internal and external clients in a professional, concise, and effective manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date client information, including client preferences.
  • Prepare quotes, place orders, and provide shipping status updates to clients/account managers for manufacturers of IT related products regarding the following: networking/security, printers, server software, appliances, and misc.
  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) for the assigned vendor set, in terms of models, new promotions, and pricing updates as related to the vendor set.
  • Act as primary backup for team members.
