Senior ServiceNow Developer

Hybrid; St. Louis, MO or Bloomfield, CT

Contract through end of year with potential for extension and/or full time

Our Fortune 12 Health Insurance client is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join their team in either St. Louis, MO or Bloomfield, CT. This person will work with multiple IT process owners and disciplines, ranging from CMDB teams and Finance/Service Mangement groups. Role is successful operation of the Configuration Management System (CMS) accordance with governance and compliance requirements established in accordance with our internal partners and ITSM best practices.

Level Expectations:

• 4+ years' experience in ServiceNow platform development.
• High proficiency within CMDB management & implementing solutions for CMDB.
• General knowledge of ITIL processes and understands relationships amongst ITSM modules
• Working knowledge of Configuration Management Systems and CMDB
• Working knowledge of ITSM Tooling, such as ServiceNow
• Working knowledge of discovery tools, preferably ServiceNow Discovery
• Strong reporting skills, to include Microsoft Excel
• Solid performance with minimal supervision, coaching and feedback
• Works largely through self-directed effort or partnering with others
• Functions well in large-scale, complex, environment

Essential Functions:

Shared day-to-day responsibility for the overall CMS data accuracy and currency of automated jobs

• Daily standups with ServiceNow/CMDB "Tiger/SWAT team".
• Managing the team board
• Assigning Kanban items
• Assignments can include data analysis- Both in ServiceNow or exporting to Excel.
• Developing Portal features in ServiceNow
• Adding new features to app listing report(s)
• Responsible for all data interfaces with automated discovery tools, domain-level configuration tools, and ITSM applications (to include integration with external data sources, etc.)
• Proposes CMS design service improvements
• Evaluates CMS operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Monitors CMS availability and performance
• Ensures all authorized changes are reflected in CMS (in scope)
• Partners with Data Owners and Stakeholders to conduct audits of CMDB data
• CMDB Portal development a strong plus
