Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Immigration Attorney located in Chicago, IL. The Immigration Attorney will be responsible for handling immigration issues, managing visas, and providing legal expertise in immigration law. The role will involve daily tasks such as researching and analyzing immigration cases, preparing legal documents, representing clients in immigration proceedings, and providing legal advice and guidance.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience in immigration law and immigration-related legal issues
- Knowledge of family, waivers, humanitarian and removal proceeding requirements and immigration processes
- Strong understanding of immigration law and regulations
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Ability to handle complex immigration cases
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the state of Illinois or other state
- Bilingual proficiency (English and another language) is a plus
