Job Description:

Extensive knowledge and understanding of customer service and intrapersonal best practices.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related position

Extensive experience in on-prem and cloud engineering, with a focus on Exchange Online, Active Directory, and Azure services.

Strong knowledge of Azure authentication mechanisms, conditional access policies, and identity management best practices.

Proficiency in hypervisor management, patch management, and scripting for automation.

Experience working with DevOps teams and implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) practices Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.


Essential Job Functions

Description

Exchange Online and Active Directory Management:

Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Exchange Online environments, including mailboxes, distribution lists, and mail flow rules.

Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), including user and group management, conditional access policies, and identity synchronization.

Azure Authentication and Conditional Access:

Design and implement authentication solutions using Azure Active Directory, including single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and identity federation.

Configure and enforce conditional access policies to control access to cloud resources based on user and device conditions.

Patching and Hypervisor Management:

Implement and manage patching processes for both on- premise and cloud-based servers and virtual machines.

Build Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud hypervisors (e.g., VMware, Nutanix AHV, Azure VMs) to ensure optimal performance, availability, and resource utilization.

Collaborationwith DevOps Team:

Work closely with the DevOps teams to integrate cloud services and infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

Provide expertise and support for automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.

Automation and Documentation:

Develop automation scripts and workflows usingPowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

Security Maintenance and Policy Management:

Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures to protect cloud resources and data.

Manage software licenses, subscriptions, and usage quotas in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Ticketing and Incident Response:

Respond to tickets and incidents related to cloud infrastructure and services, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely resolutions.

Participate in on-call rotations and incident response procedures as needed.
